sBUIDL asset
Overview
sBUIDL is an ERC-20 token created by Securitize through its sToken Vault that represents locked shares of BlackRock's tokenized US Treasury fund BUIDL, redeemable 1:1 for the underlying BUIDL position. It was introduced in May 2025 to give BUIDL holders direct access to decentralized finance, debuting with an integration into the Euler lending protocol on Avalanche where sBUIDL can be posted as collateral to borrow stablecoins. The wrapper lets holders retain exposure to BUIDL's short-term Treasury and repo portfolio while using the position in on-chain credit markets.
Within the DeFi Intel graph, sBUIDL connects to 7 tracked entities, most strongly to Ethereum, Avalanche, Securitize.
