Overview
Anchor was a decentralized savings protocol built on the Terra blockchain, accepting deposits of the UST stablecoin to generate a stable yield through lending and staking rewards on Terra's proof-of-stake network. It collapsed in May 2022 following the de-pegging of UST and the subsequent failure of the Terra ecosystem.
