Overview
Trader Joe was the dominant decentralised exchange on Avalanche and has since rebranded as LFJ. The protocol's core technology is Liquidity Book, a discretised liquidity AMM - branded DLMM, or Dynamic Liquidity Market Maker - in which liquidity is placed into fixed-price 'bins' rather than along a continuous curve, so trades that clear within a single bin execute with zero slippage and liquidity providers get precise control over where their capital sits. LFJ describes itself as a high-performance DEX powered by Liquidity Book DLMM, emphasising precision trading for takers and complete positioning control for makers. Having established itself on Avalanche, the protocol is deploying across Monad, Avalanche and other major chains. The old documentation domain docs.traderjoexyz.com now permanently redirects to docs.lfj.gg, reflecting the rebrand. Trader Joe launched as an Avalanche-native AMM and lending platform and became that chain's leading DEX, later introducing the Liquidity Book bin-based AMM and expanding to additional networks. The project subsequently rebranded to LFJ, with its documentation and web presence moving from traderjoexyz.com to lfj.gg.
