Breaking: Wanchain Cardano Bridge Breached in $13M Hack, 515M NIGHT Tokens Drained
Attackers drained about 515 million NIGHT tokens, worth roughly $13 million, from Wanchain's Cardano-to-BNB Chain bridge on 21 July 2026 by reusing a signature in the TreasuryCheck validator. NIGHT fell about 30% to a record low near $0.0186; Wanchain suspended the bridge and the Midnight Foundation said its own network was unaffected.
