Circle Drops 75% as Analyst Sees 18% More Downside
Mizuho analyst Dan Dolev downgraded Circle Internet Group (CRCL) from neutral to underperform, setting a $50 price target with 18% downside. Shares have fallen over 75% from their June 2025 IPO highs. Dolev cited competition from Visa's new stablecoin platform and the Open USD stablecoin backed by Stripe, Coinbase, and BlackRock.
