FTX begins $900M payout as creditors in 45 countries could lose their claims within 6 months
The FTX Recovery Trust set July 31, 2026 for its fifth creditor distribution, using a June 16 record date for eligibility. Creditors in 45 restricted jurisdictions, including China, Russia, Iran and North Korea, remain blocked from receiving funds, and holders who fail to onboard within the window risk losing their claim distributions.
