Singapore Leads Record Foreign Investments in Southeast Asia
Foreign direct investment into Southeast Asia hit a record $244 billion in 2025, up 10%, according to a UOB analysis of UNCTAD data. Singapore took $151 billion of that, making it the world's second most attractive FDI destination after the US, while Malaysia grew fastest at 51% and Indonesia fell 14%.
