Goldman Sachs said Brent crude could top $120 a barrel in the fourth quarter if Strait of Hormuz disruptions persist, but stressed that is not its base case. The bank forecasts Brent at $80 in Q4 2026 and $75 in 2027 assuming Middle East de-escalation, with risks tilted to the upside.
