Northrop Begins Making Rocket Motors for Patriot Interceptors
Northrop Grumman said its solid rocket motor was qualified in June as a second source for the PAC-3 MSE Patriot interceptor and that it expects a production award later in 2026. The work sits under a $2 billion, seven-year framework agreement with the Defense Department and PAC-3 maker Lockheed Martin.
