Three tankers carrying Saudi crude reversed course in the Red Sea after the Houthis declared a naval blockade of Saudi Arabia on July 20, warning that ships calling at Saudi ports could be targeted. The Xin Long Yang (2 million barrels for China) and Rodos (about 700,000 barrels for India) rerouted toward the Suez Canal, and war-risk insurance costs rose.
