Fidelity Digital Dollar (FIDD) is a US dollar-pegged payment stablecoin issued by Fidelity Digital Assets, National Association, launched in early 2026 for both retail and institutional investors. It is issued on Ethereum and backed by reserves of cash, cash equivalents and short-term US Treasuries managed by Fidelity, structured to meet the reserve and disclosure standards of the federal GENIUS Act. FIDD is designed to interoperate with Fidelity's tokenized Fidelity Treasury Digital Fund, allowing holders to move between a non-yielding stablecoin and an on-chain money market fund position.
