Lens Chain chain
Overview
Lens Chain is a layer-2 blockchain built specifically for decentralized social applications, developed by the team behind Lens Protocol, the social graph project founded by Aave founder Stani Kulechov. It is built with the zkSync stack for zero-knowledge scaling, uses Avail as its data availability layer, and anchors security to Ethereum. Users can pay gas in GHO, the Aave ecosystem's stablecoin, making transaction costs predictable. It launched alongside Lens V3, a modular architecture with an onchain rules engine and account abstraction, migrating an existing user base and roughly 125GB of social data onto the chain.
Within the DeFi Intel graph, Lens Chain connects to 10 tracked entities, most strongly to Ethereum, Lens Protocol, Ethereum.
