Kelp DAO is a liquid restaking protocol whose token, rsETH, lets users restake Ethereum while keeping a liquid, transferable position. Depositors can supply ETH directly or deposit major liquid staking tokens, and receive rsETH in return, which is then usable across DeFi protocols, decentralised and centralised exchanges and wallets. Kelp markets rsETH on its liquidity: it cites more than $300 million of depth across lending protocols and onchain venues, and says the protocol operates across more than ten blockchain networks with one-click restaking and institutional-grade infrastructure. Security is supported by multiple audits and a bug bounty programme offering rewards of up to $250,000. Kelp is no longer a standalone brand: kelpdao.xyz now permanently redirects to kerneldao.com/kelp, reflecting that Kelp sits inside the wider KernelDAO umbrella alongside its sister products. The live TVL and APR figures on Kelp's page were rendered as placeholders when accessed on 22 July 2026, so no current figure is recorded here. Kelp launched rsETH as a liquid restaking token for EigenLayer-era Ethereum restaking and later consolidated under the KernelDAO brand, with its original kelpdao.xyz domain redirecting to kerneldao.com/kelp.
