Overview
Sequence is the web3 developer platform and smart wallet built by Horizon Blockchain Games, the studio best known for the trading card game Skyweaver. It is an all-in-one platform intended to make building web3 games and consumer applications straightforward for both crypto-native teams and developers arriving from web2, combining a smart wallet with developer infrastructure. Horizon closed a $40 million Series A in October 2022 led by Brevan Howard Digital and Morgan Creek Digital, with proceeds directed at expanding the Sequence developer platform and smart wallet, scaling Skyweaver and building out the SFT marketplace Niftyswap. At that time nearly 40 projects were integrating Sequence tools with twelve already live — including Skyweaver, Cool Cats, Niftyswap, Sunflower Land, Dark Earth, BoomLand and Mechachain — and Sequence Wallet had over 675,000 users. It was also integrated into the boxing NFT marketplace launched on Polygon by global sports platform DAZN. Horizon Blockchain Games built Skyweaver first and spun the underlying wallet and infrastructure into Sequence as a developer product, raising a $40 million Series A in October 2022 led by Brevan Howard Digital and Morgan Creek Digital.
