Overview
Titan Builder is one of the two dominant Ethereum block builders operating under proposer-builder separation, in which specialised builders construct blocks and validators select the most profitable ones via MEV-Boost. Titan rose from under 1% market share to over 40% largely through exclusive order flow: in April 2023 it entered an exclusivity agreement with the trading bot Banana Gun, which routes nearly all of its users' transaction orders privately to Titan for inclusion in exchange for profit sharing or similar benefits. Together with Beaverbuild, Titan produced roughly 86% of Ethereum mainnet blocks over a two-week measurement period as of 22 March 2025, and by February 2026 Titan alone was reported at about 50% market share, building roughly half of all Ethereum blocks. This concentration is the central concern about Ethereum's block-building market: measured Herfindahl-Hirschman Index values of around 3,892 far exceed the 1,800 threshold the US Department of Justice treats as a highly concentrated market. Titan's dominance is a principal motivation for decentralised alternatives such as Flashbots' BuilderNet. Titan Builder entered an exclusive order flow agreement with Banana Gun in April 2023, taking it from under 1% to over 40% of Ethereum blocks. With Beaverbuild it formed a duopoly producing about 86% of blocks by March 2025, and Titan alone reached roughly 50% share by February 2026.
