Overview
Wormhole is a cross-chain interoperability protocol that describes itself as the connective layer moving assets, data and applications across ecosystems as if they were one. It provides generic message passing between blockchains, on top of which sit products including Connect for bridging user experiences, Messaging for arbitrary cross-chain calls, Native Token Transfers (NTT) for moving a token across chains without wrapped representations, Queries for cross-chain data reads, Settlement for cross-chain trade execution, and Portal Bridge for token transfers.
