Overview
Yuga Labs is the company behind Bored Ape Yacht Club, the most prominent NFT collection of the 2021-22 cycle, and the owner of the CryptoPunks intellectual property, which it acquired from creator Larva Labs. In March 2022 it raised $450 million at a $4 billion valuation, one of the largest funding rounds ever for an NFT company. Its strategic direction since has been a pivot away from dependence on NFT collectible sales toward Otherside, its metaverse and gaming project.
