Aave V3 protocol
Overview
Aave V3 is the third major version of the Aave decentralised, non-custodial liquidity protocol, in which suppliers deposit assets to earn interest and borrowers take overcollateralised loans against them. It is deployed across many permissionless public blockchains, including Ethereum and Base, and supports features such as flash loans, credit delegation, isolation mode and efficiency mode alongside standard supply and borrow markets. Risk parameters, asset listings and deployments are set by Aave DAO governance, which coordinates through the governance.aave.com forum and the AAVE token. Aave V3 also underpins the GHO stablecoin.
Within the DeFi Intel graph, Aave V3 connects to 42 tracked entities, most strongly to Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base.
