Beefy Finance protocol
Overview
Beefy is a decentralised, multichain yield optimiser that lets users earn compound interest on their crypto holdings. Its core product is the Vault: users deposit an asset or LP token, and an automated strategy contract harvests farm rewards and compounds them back into the original position, so the deposit grows without manual claiming and re-staking. Deposits are never locked — users keep control of their funds and can withdraw at any time — and Beefy is permissionless, requiring only a supported wallet. The BIFI token serves two roles: governance, entitling holders to vote on DAO decisions, and revenue sharing, distributing a portion of protocol income through the BIFI Pool and BIFI Vault. BIFI has a fixed supply of 80,000 tokens with no minting or burning function. Beefy also publishes LLM-optimised documentation endpoints (llms.txt and llms-full.txt) alongside its human-readable docs.
