Overview
DODO is a decentralized exchange built around its own Proactive Market Maker (PMM) algorithm, an alternative to the constant-product curve used by Uniswap-style AMMs. PMM uses a price oracle or reference price and concentrates liquidity around it, adjusting the curve proactively so that liquidity providers face lower impermanent loss and traders get tighter spreads and better capital efficiency than a plain x*y=k pool. DODO has shipped three generations of the algorithm — V1, V2 and V3 — targeted at different liquidity needs including stablecoin pairs, major crypto assets and new token launches. Alongside its own pools, the platform operates DODOX, a multi-chain trading front end that aggregates liquidity from sources such as Uniswap, Curve and PancakeSwap while also comparing prices across aggregators like 1inch and 0x, and adds features such as slippage forecasting and limit orders. DODO also offers no-code tooling for token creation, fundraising and liquidity mining, plus a research arm publishing market analysis. DODO introduced the Proactive Market Maker model as a distinct alternative to constant-product AMMs and iterated through V1, V2 and V3 pool designs, later broadening from a pure AMM into DODOX, an aggregating multi-chain trading platform.
