Jito Restaking protocol
Overview
Jito Restaking is a restaking primitive on Solana that allows holders of JitoSOL (liquid staked SOL) to restake their tokens to secure third-party networks called Actively Validated Services (AVSs). It is similar in concept to EigenLayer on Ethereum but built natively for Solana's architecture and integrated with Jito's MEV infrastructure.
Within the DeFi Intel graph, Jito Restaking connects to 5 tracked entities, most strongly to Solana, Jito Labs, and JitoSOL.

Frequently asked questions
What is Jito Restaking?
Jito Restaking is a protocol that enables JitoSOL holders to restake their liquid staked SOL to provide economic security for additional decentralized networks (AVSs) and earn extra rewards beyond standard staking.
How does Jito Restaking differ from EigenLayer?
Jito Restaking is designed specifically for Solana, uses JitoSOL as the restaking asset, and leverages Jito's existing validator selection and MEV management to secure AVSs.
What are the risks of restaking with Jito?
Risks include slashing conditions enforced by AVSs, as well as potential vulnerabilities in smart contracts or oracle systems, though Jito implements safeguards to mitigate these.
What is Jito Restaking connected to?
In the DeFi Intel knowledge graph, Jito Restaking is linked to 5 other tracked entities, most strongly to Solana, Jito Labs, and JitoSOL.
