M0 protocol
Overview
M0 is modular stablecoin infrastructure that lets organisations issue their own dollar-denominated tokens rather than being a consumer-facing stablecoin itself; the project describes it as a primary-market clearing and settlement layer. Its base asset is M, which approved participants mint against collateral. Roles in the system are permissioned through governance: minters issue M against posted collateral, validators independently verify that collateral and that supply remains fully backed, and yield earners receive the return generated on the reserves. Issuers building on M0 can then wrap M into their own branded stablecoins.
Within the DeFi Intel graph, M0 connects to 4 tracked entities, most strongly to Ethereum, POWER, OpenZeppelin.
