Frequently asked questions

What is Pump.fun?

Pump.fun is a decentralized token launchpad on Solana where users can create tokens with a bonding curve. Since March 2025 those tokens migrate to Pump.fun's own PumpSwap AMM upon completing the curve (they previously migrated to Raydium).

How does Pump.fun prevent rug pulls?

Pump.fun uses a bonding curve that locks liquidity from creators; they cannot withdraw funds before the token 'graduates' to the PumpSwap AMM, reducing the risk of exit scams.

What happens after a token graduates on Pump.fun?

Once a token completes its bonding curve on Pump.fun, the remaining liquidity is automatically deposited into the PumpSwap AMM (Raydium before March 2025), making the token permanently tradable there.

What is Pump.fun connected to?

In the DeFi Intel knowledge graph, Pump.fun is linked to 11 other tracked entities, most strongly to Solana, Raydium, PumpSwap.
