Overview
OUSG is the Ondo Short-Term US Government Bond Fund, a tokenised money-market-style product issued by Ondo Finance that gives holders onchain exposure to short-duration US Treasuries. Its underlying portfolio has been held in BlackRock's BUIDL fund since a 2024 migration, so OUSG is effectively a tokenised wrapper around an institutional tokenised Treasury fund rather than a direct Treasury holder. Access is restricted to verified qualified purchasers, with a $100,000 minimum subscription; for instant transactions the minimum is $5,000 for both investments and redemptions. The defining feature is 24/7 stablecoin mint and redemption — qualified purchasers can move in and out of Treasury exposure at any hour, which conventional money market funds cannot offer. OUSG's AUM grew from roughly $200 million at the start of 2025 to approximately $625–650 million by Q1 2026, and the fund generated an annual yield of about 3.75% as of late 2025. OUSG launched as one of Ondo Finance's first tokenised Treasury products, and in 2024 migrated its underlying holdings into BlackRock's BUIDL fund. Its AUM roughly tripled over 2025, from about $200 million to around $625 million by Q1 2026.
