Overview
XUSD is a US dollar stablecoin issued by StraitsX, the Singapore-based digital payments infrastructure company, and marketed as being 'stable by design, global by nature' for cross-border payments. It is fully backed by reserve assets and redeemable 1:1 for US dollars, and StraitsX publishes monthly reserve attestation reports prepared by an ISCA-listed auditing firm. StraitsX operates under the oversight of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, whose regulatory status is displayed on the product site. XUSD is issued natively on three networks - Ethereum as an ERC-20, BNB Smart Chain as a BEP-20, and Solana - and is listed or tradeable on venues including Binance, Bybit, MEXC, Uniswap and PancakeSwap. It sits within StraitsX's broader stablecoin suite alongside XSGD, pegged to the Singapore dollar, and XIDR, pegged to the Indonesian rupiah, all built on the same issuance and redemption infrastructure. StraitsX built its stablecoin business first around XSGD and XIDR for regional Asian currencies before adding a US dollar token, XUSD, extending the same MAS-regulated, attested-reserve model to the dollar.
