0x Protocol protocol
Overview
0x describes itself as the trading API for every chain, aggregating liquidity from more than 150 sources across EVM networks, Solana, Tron and HyperCore. Its core products are Swap APIs: an EVM Swap API for Ethereum and compatible chains, a Solana Swap API for native SPL token trading, and a Cross-Chain API for swapping assets between different blockchains. Around those sit a Gasless API, which lets users transact without holding the chain's native token to pay gas, and a Trade Analytics API for inspecting transactions routed through the protocol. In practice 0x is infrastructure rather than a consumer product: wallets, exchanges and DeFi front-ends embed its routing to get execution across fragmented venues. Recent development has added exact-output swaps, concurrent gasless trades, AI agent integrations and improved signature support for smart accounts, plus a dedicated MCP server for AI client applications.
Within the DeFi Intel graph, 0x Protocol connects to 29 tracked entities, most strongly to Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base.
