Odos protocol
Overview
Odos is a liquidity aggregation and smart order routing protocol for DeFi, built by Odos DAO LLC and launched in 2022. Its differentiator is the routing algorithm: rather than executing a trade through a single pool, Odos composes multi-hop, multi-asset swap paths and optimises for output net of gas costs, which matters most on large or awkwardly-sized trades where slippage and gas dominate. It aggregates across a wide range of venue types — decentralised exchanges, AMMs, onchain order books, lending protocols and private request-for-quote systems — and operates across 15 EVM-compatible networks. Since 2022 the protocol reports facilitating over $100 billion in transaction volume and serving more than 3.2 million unique wallets. Odos maintains SOC 2 Type II compliance and states that it operates without preferential routing, meaning no venue is favoured outside the optimisation.
Within the DeFi Intel graph, Odos connects to 28 tracked entities, most strongly to Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base.
